To ensure that you feel secure and comfortable when you visit our web pages, we would like to inform you about how your data will be handled.

To improve the quality of our web pages, we store data on individual page views of our pages for statistical purposes. This record contains information on:

  • the page from which the data was requested;
  • the name of the data;

In accordance with the German Telemedia Act (Telemediengesetz, TMG) these data are anonymized before they are saved. As a result, the generation of personal user profiles is impossible.

We do not transfer any personal data to third parties.

Cookies are small files saved to the hard disk of a visitor. They permit the storage of information for a certain period of time and the identification of the visitor's computer. To handle your visit on our site, we only use session cookies that are automatically deleted when you exit your browser. Thus, no data are stored permanently on your computer. You can define your browser settings in such a way that you are informed about cookies being placed, which makes the use of cookies transparent for you.

You yourself define which data you wish to communicate to us in the context of your online application. Online applications are transmitted to our HR department and processed as promptly as possible. The data are encrypted during the transfer. As a rule, applications are passed on to the head of the relevant specialized department in our company. Your data will not be disclosed to anybody else. Your information will be treated confidentially in our company.

We process the data you communicate to us within the framework of your online application only for the purposes of recruitment and not for any other purposes. If you would like us to consider your application also for other or future vacancies, please let us know in your application.

Google Analytics

To ensure the demand-oriented design of our website, we use Google Analytics to create pseudonymized usage profiles. Google Analytics uses cookies, i.e. text files saved to your computer, which permit the analysis of your utilization of our website. As a rule, the information generated by the cookies about your utilization of this website is transmitted to a server of Google located in the USA and stored there. However, as we have activated IP anonymization on this website, your IP address will be truncated beforehand in the member states of the European Union or in other contracting parties to the European Economic Area. In exceptional cases only, the full IP address is transferred to a Google server located in the USA and only truncated there. Google will use this information to analyze your usage of our website for us, to compile reports on website activities and to render other services to us in relation to website utilization and internet usage.

You can deny the generation of pseudonymized usage profiles at any time. In this context, you have several options:

1. The first option for refusing web analyses by Google Analytics is to set an opt-out cookie that instructs Google to refrain from saving or using your data for the purpose of web analyses. Please note that this solution will only work as long as the opt-out cookie is stored by the browser. If you want to set the opt-out cookie now, please click here.

2. You may also prevent the storage of the cookies used for building profiles by appropriate settings in your browser software.

3. Depending on the browser used, you can install a browser add-on that prevents tracking. If you wish to do this, please click here and install the browser add-on made available for downloading.
